'Relative Danger' by Shane Rimmer

While on an expedition to find Uranium 534 in the Pueblo Mountains, Sam’s father, Doctor Willie Loover, and his two colleagues become trapped in a mine shaft. Learning that Doctor Loover will die unless he receives an injection of a vital serum within two hours, Joe takes on the brain patterns of a leading underground explorer; with time running out, the young lad must mount a desperate rescue mission – but will he reach Doctor Loover in time..?
